ReiClose vs Podio

Podio is a configurable work platform, so the wholesaling CRM people run on it is one they built themselves, and maintain themselves. ReiClose arrives as a wholesaling CRM, with the trade-off that you cannot rebuild it into something else.

When Podio is the better buy

If your process is genuinely unusual, Podio will model it and we will not - that is the honest trade and it is not close. It is also one tool for work that has nothing to do with acquisitions, so a company already running projects and internal processes on it is not going to move the CRM out just to save a few dollars a seat. And if you have already built something good on it, the migration cost is real and we are not going to pretend otherwise.

Questions

What is the catch with Podio's free plan?
Their pricing page states a limit of 100 items per organization. For a wholesaler, an "item" is a lead, so that is a week or two of a working pipeline rather than a free tier you can settle into.
Is ReiClose cheaper for a team?
Not on price alone. Starter is $79 a month with one user and $10 for each extra user, so a team of five is $119 a month, where Podio Plus at its per-user price is $56. What the difference buys is a wholesaling CRM that is already built, with texting and drips included, instead of one you build and maintain.
Can I move a pipeline off Podio?
Export your items as CSV and import them as leads. Custom fields come across if you create them first.
Do I have to maintain ReiClose the way I maintain a Podio build?
No, and that is most of the point. Stages, tags and automations are settings rather than a build, and nothing breaks when the person who configured it leaves.
